Site or blog subission is a really essential task that every webmaster or blogger should do. You can submit your site to 3 major search engines through following links.
1- Submit your blog to Google.
http://www.google.com/addurl.html
2- Submit your blog to Yahoo.
http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/submit
3- Submit your blog to Microsoft Bing.
http://www.bing.com/toolbox/webmasters/
Tip: Many web search engines like Alta Vista and Lycos use other search engines like Yahoo and Google to power their search, so don't worry about submitting site to them.
